Day 570 { Cars And Parts/CREATEC Show/Gaming Has A Bright Future }

Today I did almost nothing, except checked out a car shop, but it was closed... Hey I think I can get cars and car parts relatively cheap now, so if you or your friends need car parts or a nice new car let me know :)

CEATEC, Japan's biggest information technology and electronics fair, opened Tuesday as competition for next-generation televisions using three-dimensional technology heats up amid the global economic downturn.

While the annual show has focused in recent years on technological advances in making flat-panel TVs ever thinner, attention this year will be on products that can bring the 3-D technology from cinemas into homes, as promised by both Sony Corp. and Panasonic Corp.

Organizers said 590 companies and groups, of which 263 are from overseas, have registered to exhibit their products and technologies in 2,123 booths during the five-day event at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba Prefecture.

Gaming

Although Japan's video game market shrank 10.5 percent in the fiscal first half, the second half is looking brighter amid updates to popular software titles and price cuts for major consoles, market researcher Enterbrain Inc. said Friday.

In the six months to September, hardware sales fell 15.1 percent and software sales dropped 7.5 percent compared with the same period last year.

Hirokazu Hamamura, president of Tokyo-based Enterbrain, said at a seminar for the media that a key factor in the decline has been weak sales of two game consoles — Nintendo Co.'s Wii and Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.'s PlayStation Portable.

Dave...you see any performance or scrap car places in any area near you? New parts are way too expensive for my Car (2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STI) and i want a Power Steering Pump.

I plan to get one from the US for aobut US$80.
