10 Years in Japan / Osaka Japan/ New Jamaicans in Japan

Hi again,

2 months went by really quickly. Was planning this year to blog at least once a month, but time wouldn't allow that to happen. Well I'm still here.

This month I will talk a bit about the second main city in Japan Osaka.

Someone once told me that the old ladies in Osaka has the same personality as the average Jamaican. Where they will just spark up a conversation on the bus/train with a total stranger. It's a little different in the Kanto (Tokyo environs) people. Even though it's Japan, the culture is slightly different.

Osaka is the second largest metropolitan area in Japan and among the largest in the world with over 19 million inhabitants.

Osaka literally means "large hill" or "large slope" 大阪

There are many popular sites in the Osaka area and it also has a huge underground reggae community.

Day 3549 (Watched Black Panther)
Saturday, March 3, 2018

Went on a date with Takako today. We watched Black Panther. I wasn't following the hype around the movie but I was interested to see what it was gonna be like. Also I had some free time so why not?

It did live up to the hype and I actually give it a 10/10. Amazing action sequences and the story line was pretty good. A whole lot of fake stuff but it was still amazing!!! At times I felt like I went back to Africa. I also couldn't help but think.... Just what if, what if Black people were the dominant race, and the top 80% wealthy of the world.... What exactly would the world be like. I'm very curious. Anyway, great movie!
