Highlights of 2017 - Move into New House / Visit to Bali / Ocho Rios

This is my 10th year in Japan... And I've been looking over my 10 years ago diary and it's interesting to read about what I was doing 10 years ago, getting ready to come to Japan.
Before I give my highlights of 2017, I will talk a bit about a famous tourist destination in Jamaica, Ocho Rios!
Ocho Rios
Ocho Rios is one of the key tourist resort destinations in Jamaica. The area is filled with beaches like the one above and the one below.
The name of the area is a Spanish word which stands for 8 - rivers. There are probably less than 8 rivers there but that's what the Spanish or the British afterwards over 400 years ago decided to call the area. It's a famous spot for cruise ships, scuba diving and other famous water sports. There is also a place where people can swim and interact with dolphins.

Had to do a presentation in front of over 170 new teachers for the first time. Performing or Mcing in front of people is no problem as I have more than 15 years experience of doing that. But giving a presentation for work purposes, this was my first time.

For the first time probably since I'm in Japan, I decided to cook chicken. I make rice and soup all the time but I usually don't cook any form of meat, because it just takes too long.

Went on our first trip outside of Japan since we came back from Jamaica in January 2016. Bali was pretty decent.

Invited some friends over for lunch/dinner. We watched "Sing" and "Bright".
