Day 440 { Welcome Back / Nova Boss Admits Stealing}

One of my better ALT friends... and possibly the best ALT friend that I have to date, came back from the US last week. He came to our town yesterday and even was at bible study with us last night...

A good couple of us met up with him at a restaurant called Marin... It has some good food there I would say... It's kind of like a Okinawa style restaurant... and Okinawa is like a string of over 100 little islands, separate from the 4 main islands of Japan (where even the smallest one is bigger than Jamaica) ... And they kind of give you a Caribbean feel... I hope to go there someday... Not sure when...

Anyway, so there was this company name Nova that hired people from all over the world to teach English in Japan... They were actually the largest of its kind until it went bankrupt in 2007. The former president of Nova Corp. admitted Monday that he siphoned off employment benefit funds just before the language school giant went bankrupt in 2007.
